Shillong, Oct 22: The Meghalaya Cricket Association today revealed its squad for the first two matches of the U-19 men’s Cooch Behar Trophy 2025-26.
The junior men’s selection committee has picked 15 players and five standbys for the multi-day tournament.
The team is largely based on that which participated in the recently-concluded U-19 men’s Vinoo Mankad Trophy one day tournament, where Meghalaya won three matches.
The team will be captained by Angkit Tamang, who will have Gaurav Narleng as his vice-captain.
The preparatory camp will run from 4 to 12 November at Jagiroad, Assam. Meghalaya’s first match will be against Sikkim in Shillong from 16 November. Meghalaya will then travel to Anand, Gujarat, for the second fixture against Manipur from 23 November.
