HEBER, Utah (ABC4) — A car left the highway in Heber City Wednesday morning, ending up in the Heber Valley Airport property.
According to a spokesperson with Utah Highway Patrol, the vehicle was traveling northbound on US-189 near Heber Parkway. The vehicle rolled and the driver sustained minor injuries. The driver was the sole occupant.
Police say the vehicle rolled on to property belonging to the Heber Valley Airport.
UHP says the crash only involved one vehicle and crews are on scene working to clear it. Currently, no lanes are being blocked, and cleanup operations are taking place on side of the highway.
According to officers, the cause of the crash is still being investigated, but appears to be caused by drowsiness.
