Bhubaneswar: The nomination papers of five candidates have been rejected in the Nuapada by-election. Out of 19 nominations filed, 14 candidates’ papers were accepted.
The scrutiny process took place on the last day, determining the final list of candidates for the election. The rejected nominations could be due to various reasons, such as incomplete documentation or not meeting eligibility criteria.
The BJP, BJD, and Congress are indeed fighting a triangular contest in the Nuapada Assembly by-election.
