Sussex County Council held a five-hour public hearing Oct. 21 on the rezoning for a proposed shopping center.
The 73.5-acre property is on Route 24 and Mulberry Knoll Road less than one mile from Route 1, between Lewes and Rehoboth.
Stores that have committed to the shopping center include Sussex County Council voted to delay a rezoning vote on the proposal for Costco, Target, Whole Foods and Dick's Sporting Goods.
