Duquesne football has had some of its best years recently, going to the FCS Playoffs in 2023 and winning a share of the Northeast Conference title in two of the past three years. With the 2025 season nearing an end, Duquesne looks poised for another opportunity to become a champion.
That won’t come without its fair share of challenges, though. The Dukes (4-3, 3-0 NEC) are currently in the midst of a three-game road trip, just beating Mercyhurst 37-0 last Saturday night. Both teams entered the game at 2-0 in conference play, and Duquesne was the one able to keep its NEC record perfect.
