OSWEGO, Ill. (WLS) -- Oswego police are investigating two stabbing attacks at a Chick-fil-A that left one person dead on Wednesday.

The investigation began at 5 a.m. at the restaurant in the 2700 block of Route 34, police said.

Police said they responded to calls of a person being stabbed.

When officers arrived, they found an injured victim outside the restaurant.

Officers quickly placed the suspect into custody, police said.

As police conducted a "protective sweep of the restaurant," they found a second stabbing victim dead.

Oswego police said the second victim was stabbed at around 3 a.m.

Police are still investigating a motive for the attacks
