OSWEGO, Ill. — One person is dead and another is hospitalized after a "disturbance" at a Chick-fil-A in Oswego.

According to police, officers responded to the fast-food restaurant, located in the 2700 block of Route 34, around 5 a.m. Wednesday for a report of a disturbance.

Upon arrival, police located two individuals with injuries — one was pronounced dead on the scene. The second person remains hospitalized.

The suspect was taken into custody, police said. At this time, investigators believe this was an isolated event and there is no threat to the public.

An investigation is underway.
