NBC’s ’Wicked’ Primetime Musical Special First Look

This may be Wicked , but it’s certainly not “Something Bad.”

NBC has released the first photos from its Nov. 6 primetime musical special, Wicked: One Wonderful Night , which airs 15 days ahead of Universal Pictures’ Wicked: For Good release.

For two wonderful hours, Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande will sing and dance alongside their co-stars Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, Ethan Slater, Bowen Yang and Marissa Bode. Director Jon M. Chu and the legendary stage musical’s composer and lyricist Stephen Schwartz will also appear on the special, which includes “reimagined musical arrangements, cast interviews, behind-the-scenes moments, exclusive surprises and maybe even a sneak peek at what’s to come in the next chapter of Oz,” according to NBC.
