Three candidates are running for three at-large seats on the West Des Moines School Board.
Candidates include incumbents Anadelia Morgan, Fannette Elliott and Lila P. Montoya Starr. The race is uncontested as voters will select three candidates for the at-large seats.
The Des Moines Register asked each candidate to respond to questions on why they're running and the issues facing their city. Their answers may be lightly edited for clarity or length.
