Hamilton Accies have been handed a six-point league deduction and a £22,000 fine after being found to have breached 'mutiple' SPFL rules by an independent disciplinary tribunal. ‌

The Broadwood club have also been docked a point in the KDM Evolution Trophy competition as a result of the sanctions. ‌

Hamilton's six-point deduction comes in immediately, meaning they're now sixth in League One, having been top, ahead of their home match against Queen of the South on Friday night. Of the £22k fine, £3000 has been suspended until the end of season 2026/27. ‌
