One of the Boston Red Sox's top priorities this offseason will likely be trying to retain All-Star third baseman Alex Bregman.

Bregman signed a three-year, $120 million contract last offseason after spending nine seasons with the Houston Astros, according to Spotrac , but opted out of his contract. The 31-year-old third baseman excelled in his first season with the Red Sox despite missing some time, slashing .273/.360/.821 with 18 home runs and 62 RBIs in 114 games, and was named an All-Star for the third time in his career.

Bregman is likely to draw a lot of suitors in free agency this offseason, but MLB.com's Ian Browne believes that the Red Sox have positioned themselves well to retain the All-Star third baseman.
