There are two baseball players who can start looking forward to receiving their 2025 World Series ring – and they’re not even going to be playing in the Fall Classic.

No matter if the Los Angeles Dodgers or Toronto Blue Jays win the World Series — which starts this Friday at Rogers Centre — Buddy Kennedy and Jose Urena will be taking home a championship souvenir.

That’s because the journeymen appeared in games for both teams during the 2025 season, which entitles them to a championship bauble.

Kennedy also played for the Phillies this year , starting the season with Philadelphia and appearing in four games for the eventual NL East champs before being released on July 5.

On July 9, he was signed by Toronto and was called up during an early August trip out West.
