Newly released bodycam footage shows police officers in Wall Township, New Jersey, stepping in to help rescue a small dog that had fallen into a storm drain.

The Wall Township Police Department shared in a social media post that the incident happened last week.

Police said Ptl. Jerry Baker, Ptl. Dan Grothues, Ptl. Josh Wheeler and Lt. Eric Jennings responded to the scene after a resident reported that their dog, Sandy, had slipped out of her collar during a walk and fallen into a storm drain.
