Stefan Dennis' wife has shared an emotional response to his Strictly Come Dancing journey being 'snatched away' in an unfortunate injury blow.

Those who follow the BBC One dance contest had watched the Neighbours star's journey get off to a strong start, with the actor paired with professional dancer and reigning champion, Dianne Buswell.

But he was recently struck by illness, which forced them to miss week three of the dance show this month, before they made a triumphant return to the ballroom on Saturday (October 18).

The pair were seen giving it their all during a Charleston to Dance Monkey by Tones And I, which many judges said was the pair’s best dance as they scored 26 out of a possible 40 for the routine, their highest of the competition so far.
