WACO, Texas (KWTX) - BREAKING: Jurors in Waco’s 19th State District Court deliberated an hour before rejecting Abel Hidrago’s self defense claims and convicting him of murder and tampering with evidence in the 2023 shooting of Daniel Boshell.

The punishment phase will begin Wednesday afternoon.

Hidrago faces up to life in prison.
