Considering that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is yet to receive the Asia Cup trophy, which the Indian team led by Suryakumar Yadav rightfully won, questions have emerged over whether the Indian board can push for the removal of the current Asian Cricket Council (ACC) chairman, Mohsin Naqvi.

Sources have told India Today that the BCCI could move to initiate proceedings to impeach Naqvi from his role as ACC chairman. However, the Indian board is unlikely to press for his removal at this stage.
