A Durgapur court has ordered a Test Identification (TI) Parade for five individuals accused in the alleged gang-rape of a 23-year-old MBBS student from Odisha.

T he incident occurred on October 10 when the survivor and her classmate, Wasef Ali, left their medical college campus to buy dinner.

According to the investigation, the pair were discovered in a secluded forested area by three of the accused, who demanded money. While the male friend left to fetch cash, the survivor was allegedly assaulted. Two more individuals later joined the scene. The survivor’s phone was taken, and the couple was allowed to leave after the payment was made.
