ASHBURN, Va. — Washington Commanders star quarterback Jayden Daniels will not play on Monday night. A source confirmed with WUSA9's Chick Hernandez on Wednesday that Daniels will miss the matchup against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs due to a low-grade hamstring injury.

It's more bad news for the franchise that has been battling injuries for most of the season.

Entering the end of October in the NFL, only knowing that your Washington Commanders squad is “consistently inconsistent,” as head coach Dan Quinn puts it, is a pretty scary place to be.
