UPPER FREDERICK — Two candidates are seeking the single seat on the Upper Frederick Township Board of Supervisors.
Incumbent William Karaffa, who is on the Democratic ballot line, is being challenged by Steve O’Neill, who is on the Republican ballot line.
All candidates in contested races were invited through an article in The Mercury to respond to an online questionnaire by Oct. 14. What follows are their responses in the order in which they were received.

Karaffa, who did not give his age, is currently a township supervisor and has been a constable for the last decade.
He is a high school graduate and served in the U.S. Navy.
