Tulare County Health and Human Services has issued a press release no CalFresh, SNAP, benefits will be allocated beginning in November in the count as would be the case in the rest of the country if the federal shutdown continues to persist

“ As the federal government shutdown persists, low income households across the country face the threat of losing access to critical food assistance in November,” Health and Human Services stated. “In California, the CalFresh program is particularly vulnerable to funding gaps caused by federal gridlock.”
