Something haunts Ohio City’s Franklin Castle — doors slam, rooms go cold and guests feel a presence

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Blankets are inexplicably ripped from the bed of a sleeping woman. A room suddenly goes cold. Doors open and slam by themselves. A glass breaks. Coffee beans are arranged on a counter — all without explanation.

These are just some of the things that happened recently in Franklin Castle .

The stone, castle-like mansion is at 4108 Franklin Blvd. in Cleveland’s Ohio City neighborhood. It’s allegedly one of the most haunted places in Northeast Ohio — and it’s open for overnight stays and tours.
