Police have busted a £1million cannabis farm with hundreds of illicit plants discovered during their raid.

Inside the property on Dudley Port, Tipton, officers uncovered around 1,000 plants - totalling around £1million street value.

A 21-year-old man found in the loft space was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis at the factory.

Sandwell Police forced entry this morning, Wednesday, October 22.

West Midlands Police said: "A man has been arrested after around 1,000 cannabis plants were recovered by officers from an address in Tipton.

"This morning, officers from our Proactive Crime Team in Sandwell forced entry to a property on Dudley Port.

"Inside we found around 1,000 cannabis
