New Delhi, Oct 22: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday said Operation Sindoor demonstrated “extraordinary jointness and integration” among India’s three armed services, reaffirming the government’s resolve to develop coordinated and adaptive defence strategies in response to evolving global threats.
Speaking at the launch of a book titled “Civil–Military Fusion as a Metric of National Power and Comprehensive Security” by Lt Gen Raj Shukla (Retd), Rajnath Singh said traditional defence outlooks were inadequate in an era of hybrid and asymmetrical warfare. He described the creation of the Chief of Defence Staff post as a milestone in strengthening inter-service coordination.
