A young agricultural worker tragically died just weeks after being bitten by a fly . Andrew Kane's family are now grappling with the devastating loss of the fit and healthy 31-year-old, who passed away in hospital. ‌

Andrew's mother, Rachel Kane, revealed her son sustained a horsefly bite on his elbow whilst working away from home. He was prescribed antibiotics by his GP initially and appeared to show no concerning reactions. ‌
