Sanae Takaichi has openly expressed her desire to become an "Iron Woman."
New Delhi: Japan’s ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) leader Sanae Takaichi has become the country’s new Prime Minister. She also made history by becoming Japan’s first female Prime Minister. The LDP and the right-wing Japan Innovation Party (Ishin) formed a coalition to win, which earned her the required majority to become the Prime Minister.
Sanae Takaichi has openly expressed her desire to become an “Iron Woman.” In her speech after leading the LDP to victory, she rejected the concept of work-life balance and urged party members to work hard and contribute to the country’s progress.
