OWINGS MILLS, Md. — Just when it looked like Lamar Jackson was going to miss another Ravens practice, the star quarterback appeared for the first time since injuring his hamstring 3 1/2 weeks ago.
Roughly 20 minutes into the media viewing portion of Wednesday’s workout, the two-time NFL MVP jogged onto the field to take limited reps behind fellow quarterbacks Tyler Huntley and Cooper Rush and chatted with position coach Tee Martin in his first practice participation since leaving in the second half of the Sept. 28 loss at Kansas City. Jackson didn’t take part in the first practice of the week Monday as the Ravens returned from their bye, but his potential return sparks optimism about their ability to rebound from a 1-5 start that matched the worst in franchise history through six games.
