If you go by the numbers, it did not appear to be a good day for Penn State redshirt freshman quarterback Ethan Grunkemeyer against Iowa last Saturday night.

Grunkemeyer, making his first career start in place of the injured Drew Allar, threw for just 93 yards in the Nittany Lions’ 25-24 loss to the Hawkeyes at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City.
