Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor underwent a procedure on his right elbow after the end of the 2025 season, the team announced Wednesday.
Lindor is expected to be ready for the start of Spring Training.
The 31-year-old played in all but two games for the Mets this season, leading the NL with 644 at-bats. His two-day absence from the starting lineup occurred at the beginning of June, when he broke his right pinky toe after being hit on the foot by a slider from the Dodgers’ Tony Gonsolin. Even then, Lindor avoided the injured list.
Any discomfort did not appear to impact Lindor’s on-field performance. He posted an .812 OPS and reached the 30-30 mark for the second time in his career, with 31 home runs and 31 stolen bases. Lindor made his first All-Star team with the Mets and was na
