TRUSSVILLE, Ala. (TRIBUNE) — Norfolk Southern will temporarily close the main entrance to the Carrington subdivision in Trussville beginning at 8 a.m. on Oct. 27, the city announced. The closure will begin after morning school buses complete their routes and will block all traffic from entering or exiting at that location.
City officials said the work is expected to take one day but could extend into a second day. The back entrance to the neighborhood will remain open, and residents are encouraged to use alternate routes until the project is complete.
Trussville officials warned that school buses may experience delays during the closure but will continue operating. The city apologized for the inconvenience and urged drivers to use caution in the area.
