The death of Kada Scott, the Philadelphia woman whose body was found two weeks after she was reported missing, has been ruled a homicide, police said.

Philadelphia Police Deputy Commissioner Frank Vanore made the announcement on X on Wednesday, Oct. 22.

The ME has ruled that the cause of death for Kada Scott is homicide. Our investigators have completed their work and are forwarding a recommendation of murder charges to the DAO for charging. Vanore also said investigators reached out to the District Attorney's Office to recommend murder charges.
