CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has charged a man after he allegedly harassed someone.

Mark Allen Boyce, 66, is charged with second-degree harassment.

The affidavit states that he allegedly called and questioned employees about someone back in March 2017. Boyce said that he knew them as an old college friend, but it was later determined to be untrue. The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office contacted him and told him to stop all communications with them.

Boyce called again to request to speak with the same person on Sept. 2025, causing mental and emotional distress to the person.

He was booked into the Dorchester County Detention Center.
