FARWELL, MI — A Republican youth organization will coordinate a memorial event next month in honor of Charlie Kirk, the conservative influencer and CEO of Turning Point USA killed by gunfire in September.

The event is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 2, at Liberty Mountain USA, an events venue at 1001 Mott Mountain Road in Farwell , about 20 miles north of Mount Pleasant.

Doors open at noon, a church service is planned at 4 p.m. and the memorial begins at 6:30 p.m., organizers said.

While there is no admission price, parking costs $5 per vehicle.

The event is organized by the youth committee for Michigan Republican District 9, a GOP group that operates in Huron, Lapeer, Macomb, Oakland, Sanilac, St. Clair and Tuscola counties.
