Police have identified the suspected shooter in a March murder in the Westlake District.

Isaac Davila, 21, is accused of shooting Edwin Mora, 30, near the intersection of West 2nd and Emerald streets the evening of March 27, the Los Angeles Police Department said in a news release.

Mora, who suffered multiple gunshots to his chest, succumbed to his wounds at a local hospital.

On Wednesday, police released images of Davila, whom they described as an acquaintance of Mora.

Davila fled on foot after the March attack, and he was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray shorts and gray Nike shoes, police said.
