In preparation for an upcoming Truth and Reconciliation Action Plan presentation, Cornwall’s council took part in a truth and reconciliation training session on Monday, with one councillor asking for more time in the next session.

“I know Nova (Cook) skipped a few things, and we’re rushing through, and this isn’t to be rushed,” said Coun. Carilyne Hébert. “It is important for us to learn every piece (of information) that is addressed in both of these sessions. I know we can all go home and do some work as well… but I hope we can extend (our second session), or include a third session.”
