GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A Michigan man who pleaded guilty to voting twice in the August 2024 primary election has been sentenced.
The Michigan Attorney General’s Office announced Frank Prezzato was sentenced Wednesday to six months of delayed probation.
Prezzato, now 69, took a plea deal last month, pleading guilty to one criminal count of voting absentee and in person. As part of the plea deal, the six-month delayed probation sentence was encouraged, allowing charges to be dismissed with prejudice if he successfully meets the terms of his probation. Had he been given the full penalty, he could have served up to five years in prison.
