Two Texas women are wanted for an alleged crime spree in northwest Oklahoma City. The duo is accused of stealing wallets and car keys from lockers at local gyms. Oklahoma City police wrote 14 burglary reports in a two-day period. The victims told officers their property was stolen from their car or gym locker.
The two suspects went undetected in early October while hitting multiple gyms.
"It's a crime of opportunity," said Sgt. Dillon Quirk, Oklahoma City Police Department.
Targeting open lockers at two Crunch Fitness locations and a Planet Fitness. Police said the women searched through the victim's bags, stealing wallets and car keys, then used those keys to break into cars outside to steal more wallets and credit cards.
