Toys “R” Us is making another comeback — just in time for the holidays.

The iconic toy retailer announced that it will open more than 30 U.S. locations this winter season, including eight new flagship stores and over 20 temporary holiday shops.

The expansion marks the brand’s latest effort to revive its retail presence after years of closures.

Toys “R” Us filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2017 and shuttered more than 700 stores across the country the following year, USA Today noted. Despite multiple relaunch attempts under new ownership, only a handful of locations have remained open, including its 2023 flagship at Minnesota’s Mall of America.
