The civil case in the death of a toddler who was left in a hot car over the summer is moving forward.

Thursday, a judge is set to hear multiple motions from both sides including motions to dismiss from defendants as well as notices of more subpoenas to be served. This is in regard to a wrongful death lawsuit filed in Jefferson County, Alabama Circuit Court on behalf of the Estate of three-year-old Ke'Torrius "KJ" Starkes Jr.
