TAMPA, Fla. - Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans has been placed on injured reserve after suffering a broken collarbone in the team's 24-9 Monday Night Football loss to the Detroit Lions , the team announced.
A source told ESPN that Evans will undergo surgery to repair his collarbone this week, as first reported by NFL Network. He also suffered a concussion during the game.
The hope is that he will be back before the end of the regular season, Coach Todd Bowles said on Wednesday, but that he is "doing well."
