The Tourism Development Corporation of Cornwall (TDCC) wants in on the Port Lands redevelopment project.
Former chair and current treasurer Étienne St. Aubin said the TDCC has formally asked the City of Cornwall for a seat at the table when it comes to discussions about the future of the joint Cornwall-Akwesasne development project. But, the city has yet to respond.
St. Aubin confirmed the TDCC reached out in April.
“The communication was to urge that the TDCC be given the opportunity to get the job underway, to bring the major partners together on this significant opportunity,” said St. Aubin.
The Port Lands are jointly owned by Cornwall and the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne (MCA) through development corporations set up by their respective councils.
