TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - Authorities are responding to an officer-involved shooting at a hospital at East Ajo Way and Country Club on Wednesday, Oct. 22.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department confirmed a corrections officer shot an inmate at Banner-South.

The inmate was at the hospital for medical treatment, the PCSD confirmed.

The PCSD said there is no threat to the public and the investigation is ongoing.

OIS IN SOUTHERN ARIZONA
