President Droupadi Murmu performed darshan at the Sabarimala temple in Kerala on Wednesday.

The President reached Pramadam in Pathanamthitta district on an IAF helicopter from Thiruvanananthapuram, where she had stayed at the Raj Bhavan upon her arrival on Tuesday for a four-day visit to the state. After landing at an indoor stadium at Pramadam at 8.40 am, the President and her entourage left for Sabarimala base station, Pamba, by road.

After washing her feet in the river Pamba, a symbolic purification ritual before trekking to the shrine, she visited a Ganapati temple.
