BANGOR, Maine — A Massachusetts man was arrested Sunday after allegedly falling asleep at the wheel and causing a multi-vehicle crash at a Bangor intersection.
Seth McLaughlin, 40, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, was taken into custody after the accident, which occurred shortly before 4 p.m. on October 19 at the intersection of Ohio Street and Griffin Road, Bangor police said in a press release.
Police said witnesses reported McLaughlin ran a red light while traveling on Griffin Road. His vehicle struck another car that was passing through the intersection, causing it to crash into a third vehicle that had been stationary at the time.
