CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Carolina Panthers signed a quarterback to its practice squad in the wake of Bryce Young’s ankle injury.

Mike White, 30, signed to Carolina’s practice squad on Wednesday.

White is known for his time with the New York Jets from 2021-22 where he went 2-5 in seven starts. He’s appeared in 15 games during his time with the Jets, the Miami Dolphins, and the Buffalo Bills.

White joins Hendon Hooker on the practice squad to provide some depth for Andy Dalton.

Dalton is slated to start this Sunday against the Bills with Young battling an ankle injury.
