MANCHESTER, N.H. —
A number of Republican officials have endorsed John E. Sununu in the hours after he announced he was running for U.S. Senate, but his primary campaign opponent is not giving up without a fight.
News 9 broke the news exclusively Wednesday morning that Sununu was entering the race.
"I'm focused right now on launching this campaign with strength," Sununu said.
In his campaign launch video and in his interview with News 9, Sununu promised a return to more effective and less dysfunctional days in Washington. He's already targeting Democratic candidate U.S. Rep. Chris Pappas over the government shutdown.
