Looking ahead to tonight, things will change significantly. Winds will become light, allowing for patchy fog to move in overnight.

Temperatures are expected to drop sharply, with much of the region seeing lows in the mid-30s. In fact, we are maintaining a Freeze Warning for northern and northeastern parts of the area tonight as temperatures dip to or just below freezing. We do not anticipate a widespread advisory for the Evansville area for tonight's frost, but we'll be monitoring that northern boundary very closely.

Tomorrow, Thursday, we’ll see a shift towards calmer conditions. Approaching high pressure will keep winds lighter, generally in the 5 to 10 mph range, although the Evansville Tri-State might still see slightly higher breezes.
