BRAINERD — Take the plot of a Hallmark movie, but make it steamy.
That’s my shortened review for Victoria Walters’ new fall romance, “Love and Lattes at Pumpkin Hollow.” While the story has all the elements of a wholesome and predictable Hallmark movie — big city boy tries to take over small town girl’s family business — it’s also got a little more to offer than the typically tame family movies. Our main characters turn matters up a notch in the bedroom, further complicating their already rocky relationship.
But rest assured there’s still a quaint cafe, a cute dog, plenty of hot beverages and an exceedingly cozy atmosphere for the quintessential autumn read.
