SOMERSET, Ky. (WYMT) - After losing two games in a row, Pulaski County bounced back in district play with big wins against South and North Laurel.
“We got a nice bye between district play and those two games. We just kind of worked on what our mistakes were, and that was about it. They were focused and ready to go,” head coach Travis Burns said.
In the team’s 49-14 win against the Jaguars, the WYMT Don Franklin Athlete of the Week, Kasen Brock had 107 yards on the ground and 96 receiving yards, combining for three touchdowns. He said part of that performance started in the trenches.
“I have the best offensive line in the state. I have no doubt that they’re gonna push the guys up front and open up a hole, and then I’ll do the rest. But it all starts with them,” Brock said.
Brock is four
