The Pennsylvania Game Commission is asking the public for help after a crossbow bolt was shot into a Dauphin County home earlier this month.
A bolt is a dart-like projectile.
Game warden investigators said the Oct. 4 incident happened near Allentown Boulevard and the Pines Acres Community in West Hanover Township, Dauphin County.
Around 4:20 p.m., a dark-colored Ford truck was parked at the Comfort Inn off Allentown Boulevard. Two people wearing camouflage got out of the truck and walked into an adjacent field, the game commission said.
Just after 7:30 p.m., the pair was seen returning to the truck, getting inside and driving back into the field.
Between 4:20 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., a crossbow bolt was shot through a window into a home in the area, where it became lodged in a door.
