JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) - The shutdown of the federal government is now in its fourth week, with no end in sight. Though, as of now, Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger said she has not received any complaints from constituents.

"You still have your cities and counties functioning, your state's functioning," Harshbarger said. "It's almost like they don't know there's a government shutdown. If you didn't turn the TV on, they're not going to know. Honestly, I haven't had anybody complain."

She said November 1 will be a pivotal date, as when federal programs could run out of money.

"Think about it, we found a way to fund through the tariffs while we're shut down now," Harshabrger said. "And if the Democrats were concerned about that or about the people they serve, they'd be they'd be trying
